We are a Christian sports organization that is called to serve, partner and reach. We desire to serve communities, partner with churches and other agencies and reach people with the gospel of Jesus Christ through sport.
Our HQ is based in Bath, England and since January 1999, we have developed teams of people to use sports outreach projects, programmes and events. To date we have helped train leaders and / or establish sports ministry teams in England, Kenya, Sierra Leone, Rwanda, Pakistan, Barbados and Germany.
We thank God for a progressive 2009; this is what the Lord did through WSM last year:
- 32 Outreach Events
- Over 800 adults and teenagers reached in UK
- Over 900 children reached through UK events
- 35 schools and 1,600 children reached weekly
- 40 UK leaders trained in sports ministry
- 2 new Community Sports Teams started
- Kenya Missions – over 2000 people reached
- 50 Kenyan leaders trained.
Loads of great things have happened in 2009 and with this year being a World Cup year and new teams planned to begin; it’s a great time to connect with WSM.
