Our Netball evening continued on a high! Great to have new faces joining us and competition was fierce in the end of night match – Light Blues pressuring all the way but Navys managed to keep their cool to win those coffee shop vouchers – enjoy ladies!! Our coach Nadia Charania gave her testimony to waiting on God and the certainty of His plan for each of us – very encouraging. and congratulations Emily Marquez-Vega on her Player of the Tournament medal, all those goals were stupendous!!

We had such a great day with 20 of our Young Leaders last week, equipping and developing them as sports coaches. The talented teens planned and led us adults in warm ups, coaching sessions, Beat the Coach, and refereeing matches; all of which we thoroughly enjoyed! These YLs are a great asset to GET Sported and will be assisting on the summer Camps - you can expect some highly entertaining Beat the Coach sessions! A big well done to all 20 – they gave us a fantastic day. We saw them grow in confidence and skill and they put their all into the learning. WSM Bath enjoyed a lively and contested Touch Rugby tournament on Monday night – solid teamwork, breakaway tries, and some big hits (I mean touches!). It was great fun having mixed teams and one half featured an ‘only girls can score’ rule! This provided some hilarious passages of play – “Where’s a girl?!”, as the boys raced away for the try line, being the quote of the night!! Congrats to the Reds for a well deserved victory, directed so well by Nick Wilsher that he lifted the Player of the Tournament trophy.

WSM Bath’s first ever Netball tournament went down a storm! Our very own Netball Coach Nadia led the ladies through a fun and upbeat training evening of warm ups, skills, drills, practices and matches – just what was needed after 10 years out of the sport for some attendees! Congratulations to Marta Marquez-Vega on her Player of the Tournament award and to the victorious Navy Team – enjoy those coffee vouchers ladies!

A Brilliant two weeks of 3 day camps with ‘Get Sported’ camps for children in Bath, South Bristol and Frome. Over 200 children were reached and blessed with great coaching, varied activities, lots of fun and an impacting ministry curriculum. Changed lives galore! Significant seed was sown over the two weeks and we had a great time through sport, art and the Word of God.
