WSM are holding their adult (16+) 6-a-side tournament at the Park. We are looking for ‘Park Football’ champions. If you fancy playing, could enter a team or would just like to help out, please contact us via our facebook page or e-mail: akeel@worldsportministries.com. The cost is £3pp or £18 per team. Spaces are limited so please register asap – closing date 17th
We are now moving to grass!!
Over the bank holiday weekend (4, 5 and 6 May 2013), WSM Bristol was invited to run Football Tournaments for local kids in Horfield, Lockleaze and Southmead areas of the city.
We were blessed to have about 100 kids come and play football over the 3 days, all enjoying playing in competitive matches and meeting other children from around the area.
We were also very blessed with great weather too, praise God. Each day was sunny and dry, with the little rain we had falling on the Saturday morning and scorching sun on the Monday in Southmead.
After the games, children were awarded with prizes and were given free copies of the New Testaments and some Sports tracts to take away with them.
Please continue to pray for all those children and parents we met, that through their involvement in playing football at The Noise and through what they saw, heard and will read that they will have met Jesus. Please pray for the follow up afterwards, that we can further build the relationships we made.

The afternoon will include refreshments, tombola, craft stalls, books, clothes, painting, bric a brac, dvds

WSM Bristol are partnering with Sanctuary Church to put on a sports quiz to to raise money for Sanctuary’s compassion India project. Tickets cost £5.00 per adult and £3.00 per child under 10.

The Noise is a community action project that has been going since a group from Ebenezer Church took part in Soul Survivor’s Message 2000 social action festival in Manchester. The idea is to show God’s love in a practical way by serving the community through community transformation projects such as renovation, gardening, waste removal through to family fun afternoon’s, community BBQ’s, senior citizens banquets and Car Washes.
We are running football tournaments that will happen alongside the fun afternoons and these are on:
Saturday 4 May: Horfield Common
Sunday 5 May: Gainsborough Square, Lockleaze
Monday 6 May: Glencoyne Square, Southmead
